Every small miner dreams of finding a pocket. They call it “a blessing from God”. A pocket is as a cavity or rich deposit of minerals found following a vein of minerals through a rock.

It is a way out of the harshness and daily struggle for survival for them. There are no guarantees that you can find more than 1 pocket in a decade or even in a lifetime. The size of the pocket or its value has to be determined.

It doesn’t always yield easily and it requires hammers, or jackhammers. Whether small or large, the discovery of a pocket brings jubilation and a life changing opportunity.

Drawn by survival and sparkling stones in remote areas , it is a place of hard work and dreams of strinking it rich. The values of these stones are determined and the proceeds are then paid out to the miners.
