MEDULETU was established in 2013 with a MISSION of acquiring mineral rights, exploring and mining offshore diamond concessions of the West Coast of Namibia. Meduletu is a junior exploration and mining company with a core business of acquisition of mineral projects and the development thereof. The Co currently owns one mineral rights license offshore of Namibia. The outcome is the sustainable exploitation of Namibian natural resources to the benefit of future generations and deriving maximum benefit to shareholders.
The VISION is to become a leading mid-tier mining company that promotes “disruptive technologies” in Namibia and beyond.
Diamond mining in Namibia dates back to 1908 when a rail worker, Zacharias Lewala, accidentally discovered a diamond in an ancient beach terrace at Kolmanskoppe station near Luderitz.
